I can't help it, I got sucked in by this whole thing and by this dual named dude. I didn't really closely follow the American Idol season, but this here guy I liked from the beginning. And his AI written and produced song is
What really sucked me in is when he won and was overcome with emotion, humbled and grateful, unable to continue singing, leaving the stage to embrace his family. Nothing like a good ol' fashioned American Dream coming true to moisten the eyelids (well let's be honest, more than moisten, I was a blubbering mess).
Anyhoo, Phillip Phillips is what's on repeat.
