I have been way, way, waaaaay absent on this here lil blog of mine. I did birth that epitome of adorableness right up there (I mean that spit bubble ... swoon). So, naturally my days are slightly more filled with baby matters of importance and purpose. Taking care of a human and all that. But still, no excuses. My last post was when he was like 2 months old, not even. 2 months old might as well be an eternity ago. He's almost 6 months old now (!!!!!!!!!). And really, he is such a good and chill baby, that I should write more about his goodness and chillness. Or rather, his goodness and chillness should equate to more writing.
Also, part of the reason I even have the blog in the first place is to keep a sort of journal, both a written and visual account to look back on and remember. Exactly the way it is and was, no hazy fuzzy memories. The real reality deal. And as Leo's month by month birthdays come and go, it becomes increasingly more crazy obvious to me how time whizzes by. Whiz whiz whiz. As I write this, WHIZ.
So I'm going to get back on the horse, the figurative horse of blogging that is. I'll be catching up on Leo's month by month birthdays (I made notes each month so I wouldn't forget any of the little milestones or special moments). But otherwise no going back. The newborn haze has more than settled, so I look forward to capturing all of our adventures. Mostly of the mundane variety. The wonderfully ordinary. The peaceful humdrum. The glorious every day.
