How cool is this?!

It’s an honest to goodness real life version of the floating flying fanciful house from Disney Pixar’s Up! First of all, this movie in itself is nothing short of amazing, and carrying out an almost literal interpretation of it is BEYOND amazing. When I saw this I instantly smiled, all wide and toothy grinned and everything.

The peeps behind this here experiment are the team at National Geographic (naturally). It’s part of a new series on the National Geographic Channel called “How Hard Can It Be?” premiering in Fall 2011. Together with an expert team of scientists, engineers, and balloon specialists, they produced a new world record for the largest balloon cluster flight ever attempted and they made countless hearts fill completely and utterly with joy (at least mine did anyway).
