As per the bride’s family tradition, there is a gathering at the bride’s house the night before the wedding. Normally, as per my tradition, there is a gathering the day after the wedding.
The bride’s whole fam stopped by (from far and wide), in addition to the bridal party and friends, and enjoyed some Lebanese-style fare and wedding related anticipatory buzzings. It wasn’t a late night or wild and crazy, but an endearing get together to revel in everyone’s tangible excitement for the following day’s festivities. You could feel the love and well wishes in the air for the almost marrieds.
