Month 3 | In Review (also late)

And so the pattern of lateness continues. Procrastination has always been the name of my game, what can I say?

This is Leo's 3 month birthday update. He's now hovering on 6 months. Yuppity yup. Shame on this Mama. Shame.

But nevermind and on to the deets of mister Leo's third month of being:

• This babe is a total giggle monster. The first time he giggled, like so hard that he got the hiccups, I nearly died from my heart exploding with happiness. It was the best thing ever to happen, EVER.
• It baffles me more and more every day how much he is changing and how he is becoming such a lil man. My mister Leo. 
• He is too little to sit on his own, but we wedge him in the fold of the couch cushions in between us and he loves it to pieces. He already wants to be a little grownup and see the world, take everything in. His big blue curious eyes gape wide with wonder, darting around at his newfound perspective, and well it makes my heart swell. And it makes my heart break. Because when was this kid ever a newborn?
• He loves the great outdoors. Talk about a lot to take in. On nice days, the hubs and I eat dinner outside on the deck and he watches the wind blow through the trees and the sun stream in and blink at him.
• Morning stretches where he elongates his whole body with his hands in the air like he just don't care. These are awesome.
• That's it for the last bits of 0-3 months size clothes. He is longer than long. 
• Blowing spit bubbles has become his favourite pastime. 
• He started sleeping on his side in the fetal position. Also, sucking his thumb. These 2 miraculous factors have contributed to longer sleep stretches and him pretty much sleeping through the night. I realize how lucky this makes us. Really I do. Don't hate. 
• The Great Poo Watch of August 2013 happened. He went well over a week without a bowel movement. The final explosion shall go down in Badurina family history. The farts leading up to the main event were the stuff of legend.

The love overfloweth for mister Leo.
