Reason being is that I have just (sadly, depressingly, woefully) returned from a European vacay, a second honeymoon if you will. I am currently drowning in post-vacation dread and disdain for all aspects of my normal and everyday (yet otherwise loved) life.
The hubby and I were gone for 3 weeks, though it seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye, as all vacations do I suppose once they are over and done with. We spent a few days in London and then jetted off to our main destination of Croatia. In particular, the seaside village of Rob’s family, Jakisnica. It is my favorite place in the whole wide world. It’s my fourth time having been there with Rob (first time as husband and wife however) and it is a place very near and dear to my heart. It is after all where we fell in love and where we were also engaged to be married. It is a place that holds so much meaning and conjures up so much feeling in all the depths and recesses of my heart. And my heart literally aches to be gone from there now. Until we meet again Jakisnica! :(
